My name is Adrienne Cooper.
I’m a Native New Yorker and I grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Today I’m a proud Harlem Resident, Professional Foodie, and Tremendous Laugher.
In High School, I was fortunate enough to get into a specialized school for the arts where I got to spend half of my day focused on acting.
For college, I chose to broaden my horizons and I turned to hospitality for that.
After earning my BBA in Hospitality Management, with a concentration in Hotels/Resorts, I knew one thing: I didn't want to work in hotels.
4 years later, I was starting a job with the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City that would last another few years, before I decided to jump ship on hotels for good.
I took a big leap of faith—by jumping into the unknown and eight years later, and I’ve never looked back!
Today, I get to celebrate the things I love the most on a daily basis and work with some of the best people while I do it. I’ve worked with bars and restaurants to expand their catering operations and enhance their social events and menu planning to attract new neighbors to their establishments. I’ve written copy for CPG companies trying to express their voice and promote their products online. I’ve helped a private chef and food personality develop her brand, post regular blogs, create emails that get opened, compose and complete a cookbook proposal, produce on-camera and in-person events, and manage her social media channels. Most recently, I’ve worked with a long-standing family business to help launch a new product line by conducting market research, hosting product preview events, creating recipe pairings, and partnering with complimentary brands.
I’ve got about 20 years of experience in service and hospitality, with most of that focused in food. I’ve been paid for my writing abilities since I was in college, and I’ve been doing comedy for as many years as I’ve been running food tours. I love to challenge myself and others and test the limits of people’s expectations, to deliver unforgettable experiences through culinary storytelling. I would love to learn more about what you’re working on and to see if there’s a way for us to collaborate on something awesome! Let’s connect.
